Hands-off small business hosting
Managed hosting
and website care.
WordPress, Joomla!®, Laravel or a static site: hosted, secured, backed up and monitored, so running a server never becomes your job.
Already a Zevonix customer?
My Cloud Manager is where you raise an issue, check last night’s backups, and see how your sites and servers are doing.
Why we call it hands-off small business hosting
Each word is a promise we keep.
Hands-off
We handle updates, patches, backups and monitoring, and roll back anything that breaks. You never have to log in, but My Cloud Manager is there when you want it.
Small business
One monthly price, premium WordPress plugins included, no yearly contract. Built for firms, practices, nonprofits and local companies.
Hosting, done properly
Your own server, built and run by us. Never shared, never exposed to the internet, with threat detection and nightly malware scans.
What’s included
All of it, on every plan. There is no tier where these are switched off.
01
Your own isolated server
A managed virtual server that is yours alone, never shared.
How it works
Every client gets a managed, isolated virtual server. Another customer’s traffic spike, bad plugin or security incident cannot slow your site down or take it offline, because they are not on your machine.
02
Nightly off-site backups, checked
Encrypted every night, stored off the server, and checked.
How it works
Encrypted backups run every night, stored away from the server they came from, and we check the process is genuinely working. If the worst happens you lose a day, not a website. And when you only need one file back, you do not have to undo everything else to get it.
03
Security monitored around the clock
Threat detection and malware scanning, watched 24/7.
How it works
Endpoint detection and malware scanning run continuously on every server we manage, backed by a security operations team watching around the clock. Something found at 3am on a Sunday is dealt with at 3am on a Sunday, not on Monday morning.
04
Managed OS and security patching
Operating system and security updates applied on schedule.
How it works
Operating system and security updates are applied on a schedule and checked afterwards. The vulnerabilities that get exploited are almost always the ones somebody meant to patch and never got round to.
05
Website care: plugin and platform updates
WordPress and Joomla! cores, plugins and extensions kept current, safely.
How it works
On WordPress and Joomla! sites we keep the core, plugins, themes and extensions up to date for you. Each update runs only behind a fresh backup, with a restore point for every plugin and extension and a health check afterwards, so an update that breaks something is rolled back instead of left for you to find. Laravel applications are your own code, so their updates are scheduled with you.
06
Global edge network: speed, protection and SSL
Your site served fast from the edge, behind a firewall, with SSL handled.
How it works
Visitors reach your site through a global edge network that serves images, styles and scripts from close to them over HTTP/3, with a web application firewall, bot management and DDoS mitigation in front. Your server is never exposed directly, and certificates are issued and renewed for you.
07
Uptime and resource monitoring
Alerted within minutes when a site goes down, often before you notice.
How it works
We watch availability and resource use, and we get alerted when a site goes down or a server needs attention, usually before you notice.
08
We move your site for you
We move your existing site and check it works before go-live.
How it works
We handle the file and database transfer, DNS, SSL, baseline security, backups, monitoring, and a proper check that everything still works once it is live. You are not the one doing it at midnight, and you are not the one risking the site that currently pays your bills.
09
My Cloud Manager shows you everything
Servers, sites, usage and backups in one sign-in.
How it works
Sign in to see your servers, your sites and applications, and how much of your resources you are using. You can confirm last night’s backup actually ran without emailing anyone to ask.
10
Support from a real local team
Raise a request in your portal, or call our Florida offices.
How it works
Requests you raise in My Cloud Manager go straight to our team as tickets, and replies come back to you by email. Prefer to talk it through? Call our Jacksonville or Palm Coast office.
11
A staging copy to test changes on
A private, password-protected copy of your site to try changes first.
How it works
Try a new plugin, a theme change or a page redesign on a private copy of your website, files and database included, without your visitors seeing it. Only people with its password can open it, and search engines never index it. When you are happy, publish it: changes are merged into the live site rather than copied over it, so orders, comments and form entries that arrived in the meantime are kept, and the last publish can be undone. Available for WordPress, Joomla! and static sites.
12
Zevonix plugins for WordPress
Speed, image, security and email plugins, set up and kept updated for you.
How it works
On WordPress sites, our own plugins do the jobs people usually buy separate plugins and subscriptions for. We install, configure and update them for you:
Optimize makes pages load faster by switching off what each page does not need and delaying scripts until they are used. Image Optimizer converts and resizes your images automatically, with no monthly credit limits. Security adds login protection, two-factor sign-in, malware scanning and security headers. Communications sends branded emails and newsletters to your subscribers, delivered reliably. Backup lets you restore from inside WordPress.
Plus search, events, memberships, donations and a branded login page when your site needs them.

What to ask any managed host
Not only us. These are the questions worth putting to whoever you are considering. The answers tell you what kind of service you are actually buying.
-
Is my site on its own server, or shared with strangers?
On shared hosting, somebody else’s traffic spike or security incident becomes your problem.
-
Where are the backups kept, and has anyone checked they restore?
Backups stored on the same server die with it, and an untested backup is a promise rather than a safety net.
-
Who applies operating system and security patches?
“Managed” sometimes covers only the application, quietly leaving the server underneath to you.
-
What actually happens at 2am on a Sunday?
Automated monitoring and a human who responds are different things. Ask which one you are getting, and when.
-
Am I on a contract, and what is the notice period?
Annual terms are common and easy to miss. It is a much better question to ask before signing than after.
-
If I leave, what do I take with me?
Your files, your database and your DNS configuration should all come with you. Ask whether an export costs extra.
-
What is not included?
The honest answer is a list, not “everything”. Add-ons, hourly rates and third-party costs should be visible before you buy.
-
Which platforms do you genuinely support?
Plenty of managed hosting supports only WordPress. If your site runs on Joomla! or Laravel, or is a plain static site, ask the question directly.
Our answers to all eight are on this page: in what’s included, the plans, and the questions below. If anything is still unclear, ask us directly.
Managed hosting plans

Website Technical Management
Ask us
We look after the website itself, not just the hosting under it: ongoing maintenance and fixes, security, and dealing with your plugin, theme and software vendors for you.
For businesses that want one team responsible for the whole site.
Premium staging
Ask us
Your staging copy on its own server, with its own resources, so heavy testing, large imports or a PHP upgrade trial never slow your live site.
For stores and busy sites. Standard staging is already included.
Add-ons are added to your account by our team. Ask us to add one.
Month to month
No fixed term unless you ask for one, and thirty days’ notice to cancel. We would rather you stayed because it works.
Your site stays yours
You own your content, your data and your domains. Ask on the way out and we’ll hand over an export of your files, database and DNS configuration.
Grow when you need to
Move between tiers as your traffic changes. If you outgrow a plan we will tell you, rather than quietly letting the site struggle.
Questions we get asked
Which platforms do you host?
We host websites and applications built with WordPress, Joomla! or Laravel, as well as plain static sites. The hosting, security, backups, patching and monitoring are the same underneath, whatever your site runs on.
How much does it cost?
Four plans, from $49.99 a month for 4 vCPU, 8 GB of memory and 100 GB of storage, up to $109.99 a month for 12 vCPU, 48 GB and 400 GB. Everything in the included list comes with all four. Moving your existing site is included in most situations, and optional add-ons, such as Blog Autopilot, are priced on top and listed with the plans.
Will you move my existing site over?
Yes. Onboarding covers transferring your files and database, coordinating DNS, setting up SSL, applying baseline security, configuring backups and monitoring, and reviewing the site once it is live. It is included in most situations. If a move is unusually large or complex, we quote it up front so there are no surprises.
Am I tied into a contract?
Not for a year. Month to month, with thirty days’ notice to cancel.
What happens to my site if I leave?
You own your content, your data and your domain names throughout. On the way out you can ask for an export of your website files and database, plus a record of the DNS configuration if we manage it. Ask before your end date rather than after.
Is this shared hosting?
No. Each client runs on their own managed, isolated virtual server, so your CPU, memory and storage are not being competed for by other people’s sites.
How often do you back up, and can you restore a single file?
Backups run nightly, encrypted, and are stored away from the server they came from. We can restore an individual site on its own or recover individual files, and we periodically verify that the backup process is actually working.
Is support available 24/7?
Security and availability monitoring run continuously, around the clock, backed by a security operations team. Human support response targets are set out in your service agreement rather than promised as a blanket number here.
