Security Built into the Hosting Work

Safeguards, response and responsibilities for the hosted site.

Layered hosting protection around a managed website.

Security is a continuing operational responsibility. The managed hosting approach combines customer isolation, patching, edge protection, monitoring and recoverable backups, with the scope of response agreed for the service.

Hosting plans from $49.99/month

Tier 1: 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 100 GB storage. We confirm capacity, compatibility and any extra work before quoting.

Two customer environments, each with a website and virtual server inside its own boundary.
Isolation is one layer of protection

A separate customer virtual server supports clear boundaries. Patching, access controls, monitoring and recovery planning still matter.

  • Customer isolation
  • Ongoing safeguards
  • Recovery planning

Reduce exposure

Separate customer environments, managed updates, HTTPS and edge filtering help limit common attack paths.

Prepare to recover

Off-site backups and an agreed recovery process help address changes or incidents that need a restore.

The layers and their boundaries

Monitoring is one part of response

Automated monitoring runs continuously. Investigation, remediation, escalation and human response coverage need an agreed scope. Endpoint detection or an alert should not be read as an unlimited incident-response or 24/7 staffed-resolution promise.

Application responsibilities still matter

Safe code, maintained plugins, appropriate user access and care with published content remain essential. Share business-critical integrations and regulated-data requirements before onboarding so the service can be assessed properly.

Recoverability needs an actual recovery point

Confirm what is backed up, how long it is retained and what a restore would replace. Backups do not automatically establish a recovery-time or recovery-point guarantee. A store or application needs particular care around new data arriving after the selected backup.

Read the service's security disclosure

The Security Overview describes the published approach and limitations. The service terms and your Service Summary define the agreement. This page adds no compliance certification, numerical uptime SLA or warranty.

Hosting security questions

Does managed hosting make a website immune to attacks?

No. It provides operational safeguards and an agreed response and recovery approach; applications and people still affect risk.

Does this make my site HIPAA or PCI compliant?

Hosting controls alone do not establish a customer's compliance. Requirements need assessment and a specific written agreement where supported.

Are all staging copies private?

Confirm the access restrictions for the specific environment. Noindex and robots rules are indexing instructions, not access control.

Is cleanup of any compromised application included?

Do not assume unlimited remediation. The agreement defines covered response work and any separately scoped technical service.

Discuss hosting security requirements

Describe the platform, important integrations and any contractual requirements. Keep credentials and sensitive records out of the inquiry form.
