We host and look after WordPress sites for businesses that would rather not think about updates, backups or whether a plugin left a door open. Your site runs on a server we manage, with the maintenance work done on a schedule and visible to you.

Updates, and why we stage them
Most WordPress trouble starts with something that was not updated, or something that was updated carelessly. We scan every site we host for pending core, plugin and theme versions, and we record what is behind rather than waiting to be told.
Updates are applied on a schedule, not the instant they appear. Where a site has a staging copy, significant updates go there first so a broken layout is found by us rather than by your customers. If an update does go wrong, the backup from that morning is the way back.
Some plugins only release fixes to licence holders. When a site is behind because its licence lapsed, that is worth knowing rather than guessing at, so we surface the paid ones separately instead of reporting them as simply out of date.
What we close off by default
A new site arrives with a few things already shut, because leaving them open and waiting for an incident is the expensive order to do it in.
- XML-RPC is denied unless something you use needs it. It is the quietest way a site gets hammered: thousands of login attempts through one endpoint, none of which show up as failed logins in the usual places.
- The login page is not where attackers expect it, and repeated failures from one address stop being answered.
- Source control and configuration files are refused at the edge, so the daily sweep for .git directories and .env files never reaches your site.
- Known bad addresses are blocked across every site we host. One site being probed means the rest are already protected from that address.
Caching and speed
Pages are cached so that repeat visitors and search crawlers are served without waking PHP or the database. Where a site benefits from it, object caching goes in as well. Caching is purged when you publish, so you are not looking at yesterday's page while wondering whether the edit saved.
Backups and getting things back
Every site is backed up to storage that is not the server it runs on, because a backup on the same disk is not a backup. Databases are dumped individually rather than as one lump, so restoring one site does not involve the others.
We keep a backup from every night of the last month, then one a week, then one a month, reaching back at least three months.
Restores are scoped: a single file, one database, or the whole site. Most of the time what someone needs back is a page, not a server.
What you can do yourself
You get an account in My Cloud Manager, where you can see your sites without asking us for a status update. Depending on the role we give your people, that includes clearing the cache, viewing installed plugins, managing the site's WordPress user accounts, sending a password reset, and raising a ticket that lands with a person.
Roles exist so that the person who writes the blog posts does not also hold the keys to billing or to the plugin list.
Plugins included with your hosting
We write and maintain our own WordPress plugins, and every WordPress hosting plan includes them at no extra charge. They cover the jobs most business sites end up paying a premium plugin for. The people who run your server keep them updated, and each one is switched on only where a site needs it.
| Our plugin | What it does, and what people usually pay for instead |
|---|---|
| Zevonix Optimize | Removes WordPress bloat, holds back scripts until a visitor interacts, lazy-loads images and video, strips unused CSS and serves fonts from your own server. Instead of: Perfmatters, $29.95, or WP Rocket, $59.95 a year |
| Zevonix Image Optimizer | Compresses images as they are uploaded, converts them to WebP and keeps only the sizes your pages use. Instead of: ShortPixel Unlimited, $99.90 a year |
| Zevonix Security | Firewall, malware scanning, login protection, two-factor sign-in, file change monitoring and security headers. Instead of: Wordfence Premium, $149 a year |
| Zevonix Backup | Scheduled backups to cloud storage from inside WordPress, with retention rules and one-click restore. Instead of: UpdraftPlus Premium, $70 a year |
| Zevonix Search | Results that appear as visitors type, with filters and the matching words highlighted. Instead of: SearchWP Standard, $99 a year |
| Zevonix Login Customizer | Your logo, colours and wording on the WordPress sign-in page. Instead of: LoginPress Pro, $99 a year |
| Zevonix Communications | Subscriber lists, branded email templates, and new posts sent to subscribers automatically. Instead of: MailPoet Business, priced by list size |
| Zevonix Events | Event listings, calendar views, registration and tickets. Instead of: Events Calendar Pro, $399 a year |
| Zevonix Membership | Member sign-up, members-only content by role, and a member directory. Instead of: MemberPress Launch, $399 a year |
| Zevonix Donations | Donation forms that take card payments through Stripe, with a record of every donor. Instead of: GiveWP Essentials, $199 a year |
Added up at those prices, the six that nearly every business site needs (Optimize, Image Optimizer, Security, Backup, Search and Login Customizer) come to about $550 a year. A site that also runs events, memberships or donations would add about $1,000 more. Here, all of it is part of the hosting.
Prices are each vendor's own list price for one site, checked in October 2026, using the cheapest plan that does the same job. Some of them are first-year prices that renew higher. Product names belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with any of them.
What this is not
Hosting with us does not mean handing over your site. We do not change its design or its content, and we do not claim that managed hosting makes a site immune to every problem. What it does is remove the common reasons sites break and make the uncommon ones recoverable.
We are also not affiliated with the WordPress Foundation. We host and maintain sites that run its software.

Tell us what you are running and what has gone wrong before. That conversation is more useful than a plan comparison.
