Client Website Hosting with Clear Responsibilities

Client environments, access and handovers with named owners.

Separate client websites and managed hosting environments.

For agencies that build and maintain client sites and want a hosting team to handle the server work. Agree the customer environments, permissions, billing contacts and handover process before bringing sites across.

Hosting plans from $49.99/month

Tier 1: 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 100 GB storage. We confirm capacity, compatibility and any extra work before quoting.

Two customer environments, each with a website and virtual server inside its own boundary.
Clear boundaries between client environments

Agree the customer environments, access and handover responsibilities so each site has a named operational owner.

  • Client environment
  • Agreed access
  • Named owner

Agency and developer work

Your team leads design, content, custom development and the relationship agreed with the client.

Hosting operations

Zevonix handles the managed environment and agreed routine care, with extra technical work scoped separately.

Plan distinct customer environments

The hosting model provides an isolated virtual server for each customer environment. We confirm which sites belong to each environment, account ownership and the capacity needed. Do not assume an unlimited-sites or reseller allocation from a single plan price.

Agree who can authorise a change

Identify the client owner, agency contacts and the people who need portal or deployment access. Roles and permissions should reflect who can view a site, submit requests and approve publishing or account changes.

A shared agency workflow, multi-client dashboard, white-label service or referral arrangement is not implied by the hosting service. Discuss any such requirements before committing.

Collaborate around tested changes

Where staging is included, confirm access restrictions, the review process and the way live data is protected before publishing. Stores and applications need a clear division between code changes and newly arriving business data.

Make ownership and handovers explicit

Clients' content, data and domains should have a clear account owner and an agreed handover process. The agency-client agreement handles ownership of the agency's work; our service terms describe the hosting export and account relationship.

Before a client leaves or changes agency, agree authorised contacts, file and database exports, DNS responsibility and any access that needs to be removed.

Agency hosting questions

Can the client remain the account owner?

We can review the intended account and agency roles. The quote and onboarding record should state who owns the account, pays for it and can authorise changes.

Does one plan cover all agency clients?

Do not assume so. We quote the required customer environments and confirm site counts, isolation and resource requirements.

Is custom development part of hosting?

Design, content and development remain separately scoped. Review the care coverage guide with the agency and client.

How do we move the first site?

Start with a migration review and one clearly defined customer environment. Confirm compatibility, responsibilities and approval points before cutover.
